Julie Mendez of JSM Career Coaching offers resume, interview, and job search coaching services. She has more than five years in the executive search and recruitment industries, the most recent as a Branch Manager of a temporary placement agency in Washington, D.C. Her work experience also includes developing programs and initiatives to advance diplomatic spouses’ professional development and desire to work overseas and enhancing the quality of life for the US diplomatic community at U.S. Embassy Rome.
“As a former employment recruiter and U.S. Embassy Community Liaison Officer in Rome, I understand the diverse challenges and desires associated with finding professional development and work opportunities while overseas,” says Mendez. “I’ve developed teleseminars because they are an effective way to connect with people and empower them, regardless of our locations.”
Mendez’s “gypsy lifestyle” as a diplomatic spouse has given her insights into the special professional circumstances in which traveling spouses find themselves, and her client’s need to find not just a job, but the job. JSM Career Coaching’s mission is to empower clients by giving them the skills they need to land the job they want and deserve.
